Kevin Ingram begins his ninth season at the helm
of the Crimson Storm volleyball program in 2009. In eight years at
Southern Nazarene, Ingram has compiled a 174-143 record.
This past season, Ingram guided SNU to an 18-17
record and a post-season appearance in the Sooner Athletic Conference
Tournament. In eight seasons at Southern Nazarene, Ingram has had six winnings seasons and has only suffered two losing records. During
that span, Ingram has guided the Crimson Storm to five 20-win seasons,
including back-to-back 27 win seasons in 2005 and 2006.
Three
seasons ago, Ingram led the Crimson Storm to a 27-14 record, the
program’s best winning percentage since 1994. Along the way, the
Crimson Storm claimed the program’s first ever Sooner Athletic
Conference tournament title. SNU also earned a spot in the NAIA Region
VI tournament.
Ingram took over the volleyball program in 2001 after serving as a
graduate assistant coach for one year and an assistant coach for four
seasons under former SNU volleyball coach, Stephane Shellenberger.
Ingram holds two degrees from Southern Nazarene University, graduating
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fitness and Wellness Management
and completing his Master's of Arts degree in Management. Aside from
his duties as the Head Volleyball Coach, Ingram also serves as the
Athletic Department Facilities Manager.
Kevin and his wife Pam reside in Yukon and have one child; a son named Kade.
