SNU vs. Claflin, S.C. (1989 NAIA Womens Basketball National Title Game)

SNU claimed the womens basketball programs first NAIA National Title with a 98-96 win over Claflin College in the 1988-89 season. Under the leadership of Head Coach, Bob Hoffman, SNU posted a 36-2 record, winning the Sooner Athletic Conference regular season title and the District 9 Championship.
